[ Recco Backpack Reflector ] Recco Reflector technology makes you searchable to rescuers in case of an avalanche or if you get lost outdoors, they provide an additional layer of safety as a backup. At only 4 grams, The RECCO Backpack reflector is lightweight, requires no batteries or power, and it does not have to be turned on.

[ Be Searchable ] By wearing a RECCO reflector, you allow search teams to locate you using either a RECCO handheld detector or a RECCO SAR helicopter detector.

[ How it works ] The system consists of two parts: the detector sends out a radar signal, which is echoed back by the RECCO reflector, guiding rescuers to your exact location.

[ Intended Use ] Designed for your outdoor backpack, Primarily intended for use in the winter when skiing and snowboarding or for summer sports such as hiking, mountain biking and more. RECCO Technology is not a substitute for an avalanche transceiver

[ How Recco has Evolved ] First introduced in 1983 for avalanche rescues, RECCO technology has evolved significantly. Since 2015, RECCO has expanded its capabilities with helicopter detectors that can efficiently search large areas.
