The Trailer conversion connection wire functions as a converter tool which fit all 2-wire vehicle electrical system to standard 3-wire trailer RV hitch pick up trucks. 2.1 amps signal circuit, 5.0 amps taillight circuit.

Noted: tailgate light/tail light function is not supported in this converter so does not run through this converter. Truck can't tell the difference between blinker and brake light.
