Important note: Osram Cool Blue HID bulbs are NOT BLUE light bulbs. Blue-colored light is generally 6500K or above. “Cool Blue” is simply the model name.

The nature of the HID Xenon bulb is that the color temperature shifts over time, becoming whiter as it ages and eventually turning a bluish color before the end of the bulb's life. However, they also lose brightness in the process. This means a USED 4300K OEM bulb might look whiter than a brand-new Cool Blue (CB) bulb, even though it’s producing less light.
