Important note: Osram Cool Blue HID bulbs are NOT BLUE light bulbs. Blue-colored light is generally 6500K or above. “Cool Blue” is simply the model name.
The nature of HID Xenon bulbs is that their color temperature shifts over time, becoming whiter as they age and eventually turning a bluish hue before the end of the bulb's life. However, they also lose brightness in the process. This means a USED 4300K OEM bulb might appear whiter than a brand-new Cool Blue (CB) bulb, even though it’s producing less light.
